Ex-WWE announcer Kayla Becker touts BZZR as ‘home base’ for sports fans
Kayla Becker Brings WWE Background to BZZR Sports Platform
Kayla Becker, who spent eight years handling backstage interviews and pre-shows for WWE, has joined the sports-focused social media platform BZZR as a content creator. She described the move as an opportunity to expand beyond wrestling into other sports while returning to her broadcasting roots.
Becker studied sports broadcasting in college and once aspired to a career in the WNBA. She credited former WWE colleague Chris Dunn, now head of content at BZZR, with recruiting her to the platform. The service positions itself as a dedicated space for sports discussion that reduces exposure to unrelated content common on other networks.
BZZR requires verified creators and aims to limit interference from bots or disruptive accounts. Becker noted that users can share opinions among people who follow sports closely. She has already directed some of her wrestling audience toward the platform.
She joins other wrestling figures on BZZR, including All Elite Wrestling competitor MVP and podcaster Dwayne Swayze. The platform continues to add contributors from the sports entertainment sector.
